Yee, today is exciting! I've been working on hooking up my printer. I can't get it to print yet, but I got the scanner working! :D :D :D
I'm so happy; scanner means I can now post drawings here, and on my Deviantart.com account! I have been doing lots of drawings. Also, I can scan in stuff I did in my Spring art class (if I can damage the charcoal pieces in doing so).
Anyway, so I have here a drawing that I did on March 12th, and I talked about it on my March 12th (2007) post. It's Sebastian and Julian from my "Maugre" story. :D I'm really proud of the hand, and one day I hope to redo this drawing and fix a couple things 1) Sebastians hair; it's really sloppy and unrealistic 2) the faces - they aren't as realistic as the hand 3) Julian. He's less important in this, since Sebastian dominates the picture, but his face is all wrong.
I really like how Sebastian came out. He has a gentle expression on his face, which is like him, and he's just so pretty..XD Sorry for my hyperness. I'm just so happy this drawing came out semi-good, 'cause usually I'm dissatisfied with my drawings.
Here 'tis:

OTHER DRAWINGS:
The following two are characters from my other story, Hemas Torbis. The first is an image of Emna, my warrioress character. In this part of the story she is disguised as a slave in enemy territory. I referenced a pic of Aishwarya Rai, the Bollywood actress, for this piece. She turned out looking a bit too much like Rai for my taste, though. Not enough like the character. But considering I've tried drawing this character a few times, I'd call this one the best shot so far.

This last one is a drawing of the villain that Phen and Emna are going up against. It's an unfinished drawing...but the best I've come up with for him so far. He looks evil and handsome, which is how I imagine him. Reference, hmm...various actors, including, oddly enough, Leonardo DiCaprio. You'd think someone with such a baby face wouldn't work for a villain, but his eyes in the pic are just amazingly sly and evil looking, so it totally worked for villain reference. The eyebrows are awfully dark...but that's because I intend to make the hair just as dark. O_O *daunting*

Please tell me what you think! Comments appreciated. :)

Wow girl - I love those drawings. You are super woman - drawing, writing, poetry, bookmaking, is there anything artistic you can't do? I'm very impressed with the drawings.
You do a fine job. The second one reminds more like a character out of a Dickens' tale or from that time period - not sure why - I guess it's the hair bun and the closed eyes - you did an excellent job of capturing a look from the time period of Dickens' or Jane Austen - I almost could see (from the clips of movies I've seen) - like Little Women characters or something on that lines -
But they are very awesome -
PS - you have yet another website? - no, not a site, but another blog? - too many for me to keep up with - great job - E :)
